The hotel features beautifully appointed rooms with rustic furnishings, and we particularly appreciated the spacious layout that included a cozy seating area-ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. The restaurant showcased delightful Slovakian and Czech cuisine, though I recommend venturing out for more gourmet options as some dishes left much to desire. On the bright side, the exceptional service from the staff, especially in the restaurant, made our dining experiences enjoyable. Their warm hospitality was a highlight, reflecting the welcoming spirit of this region. Located just 3 km from the stunning Krasna Horka Castle and several magnificent caves, the hotel is an excellent base for many outdoor adventures. We spent a wonderful afternoon hiking in the nearby Slovensky Kras-Karst region, soaking in the beauty of the natural surroundings. To further elevate the experience, the hotel's proximity to local shops and bus stops made it easy to navigate the area. I must mention that a children's playground and a garden barbecue area would be a fabulous addition for families looking to enhance their stay during warmer months. In short, Hotel Čierny Orol combines rustic charm with a prime location, making it a solid choice for families like mine-especially those eager to explore the region's historical and natural wonders.
